Waqar Mehdi, a distinguished graduate of the National University of Technology (NUTECH), earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2024. His outstanding academic achievements and active involvement in student life earned him the prestigious President’s Gold Medal. Known for his strong leadership and commitment to service, he served as the General Secretary of the Community Service Club for one year before rising to the role of President.

After graduation, Waqar continued his path of excellence in the professional world. He is currently serving as an Executive at ACM Hi-Tech Engineering and also contributes as a part-time Assistant Trainer at LearnObot, where he shares his knowledge and passion for technology with the next generation. 

He was also elected as the General Secretary of the NUTECH Alumni Association for a two-year term (2025–2027), where he plays a key role in strengthening alumni engagement and fostering a vibrant alumni community.
