Brain Korea Master’s Scholarship
Taseer Abbas is one of the pioneer graduates of the National University of Technology (NUTECH), where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2022. He was awarded the Gold Medal for his final-year project and the Silver Medal for academic excellence.
After graduation, he briefly joined Eastern Testing Services (ETS) as a Trainee Field Engineer, gaining initial industry exposure. Shortly after, he moved to South Korea to pursue his Master’s degree under the fully funded Brain Korea scholarship. Brain Korea scholarship is a major South Korean government‐backed graduate scholarship and research support program. It’s a human resources development initiative aimed at strengthening research infrastructure and training world-class graduate students (Master’s & PhD) in science, engineering, social sciences, humanities, arts, and education.
Taseer’s current research focuses on developing machine learning models in conjunction with Unmanned Aerial Spraying Systems (UASS) for advanced agricultural applications.
