The Alumni Association of NUTECH recently organized an insightful online workshop titled “Global Pathways”, designed to guide students aspiring to pursue higher education abroad. The session was led by two distinguished NUTECH alumni: Engr. Ahsanullah Ansari, currently pursuing an MS in Civil Engineering at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), and Engr. Muhammad Ibtisaam, currently undertaking an MS in Web Engineering at the Technical University of Chemnitz (TUC), both residing in Germany.
The workshop focused on equipping students with practical knowledge about studying and living in Germany, covering key aspects such as the university application process, available scholarships, visa procedures, cultural adaptation, and student life experiences. The speakers provided first-hand insights into the challenges and opportunities of international education, sharing personal journeys that highlighted both the academic rigor and the cultural enrichment of studying in Germany.
Students had the opportunity to engage in an interactive Q&A session, where their queries were addressed with practical guidance and real-world advice. The alumni emphasized the importance of early preparation, networking, and adaptability for those considering overseas education, while also shedding light on professional prospects in Germany’s competitive yet rewarding job market.
The session proved to be a valuable platform for knowledge exchange, broadening participants’ understanding of global academic and career pathways. By bridging the gap between current students and accomplished alumni, the workshop reinforced AAN’s commitment to nurturing its community through mentorship, international exposure, and career development opportunities.
